Pasaulinė autizmo supratimo dienaGood morning dear families and friends of Kitoks Vaikas!

Today, 2nd April is World Autism Awareness Day, and by big surprise – it is all white around in Tallinn.

To mark this special day of recognition, at the attachment there is a present for Kitoks Vaikas in a form of two different size ready for distribution and printing if needed posters.
The work was done in a collaboration with two very unique people – Latvian Artists Ināra Liepa, who made a drawing of a very special Teddy Bear, and Estonian Graphic Designer Kersti Voogre, who helped me to put all ideas together.
If you like the result of our work, please feel free to use it whenever it is needed. Just remember, that with these posters we will always be with you in our thoughts!

Besides, in the framework of the concept „growBALTIC” and support of the Embassy of Latvia in Estonia and friends there is a plan to organise various cultural, informative and charitable events with connection to 2nd April Wold Autism Awareness Day, to give support to families with autistic children in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

In Estonia we are planing different smaller and bigger events from April to October.

In May we would like to organise the Conference on Autism in Tallinn to gather information about achievements in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in the field of research, exchange of experience on practical work and challenges. We would like to invite few specialists on the field of autism from Lithuania to take part at the panel.

I would like to let you know, that in Estonia parents of autistic children together with friends and supporters are planing charity concert in Tartu on Wednesday, 30th May in Jaani kirik. Charity events are planned also in Viljandi and Silame. In Tallinn it will take place on Thursday, 31st May. So we would like to ask you to organise the concert in Lithuania as well.
I can be as an Act of Baltic Solidarity.
Lets join hands to support each other!

Thank you very much indeed for your support in advance.

Happy Easter!

Sincerely yours,

Ināra Eihenbauma
